In the first of a new, semi-regular series, Mark Devlin is joined by guest Charlie Freak to explore the powerful impact of truth music - that which happens when artists are left to express themselves freely and put great wisdom into the lyrics of a song.
Charlie goes back to back with Mark in a reggae soundclash style, as each of them select eight tracks from decades that truly resonate, and analyse the lyrical content and sentiments of each song. If music like this were played on the TV and radio, all over the world, 24/7, the course of human consciousness could be radically altered within a generation; it says so much that it’s not!
