This Saturday it’s the mass occult energy-zapping ritual that will be the wedding of Harry Hewitt, as well as the FA cup final.

What better way to spend the afternoon, therefore, than being insulated from all the madness, and instead catching some truthful and empowering information about the real role of the corporate music industry and how to avoid falling into its mind control web? I was happy to link up again with the very incisive podcast host Michael Joseph, to round off our two-part chat about some unsettling aspects of hip-hop music and culture that never get spoken about elsewhere.

In Michael’s words:

Mark and I continue to discuss the role of the 5 Percenter teachings and Nation of Islam in Hip-Hop; we picked up where we left off in episode 2.  In this discussion we focus mostly on Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam and the Malcolm X–Elijah Muhammad controversy; we also discuss 5-percenter/Islam influenced Hip-Hop groups such as Public Enemy and the Wu-Tang clan.  We wrap up by talking about DMX and some of his strange behavior in relationship to esoteric and religious agendas within Rap music.  Hypocrisy is the general theme of this discussion and there is plenty to go around.”

I'm very happy to be part of the line-up for Vegfest in Bristol over the late May Bank Holiday weekend. It’s a great all-weekend, family-friendly event featuring talks and workshops on plant-based diets, but with a programme of live music, comedy and kids’ activities thrown in. I’ll be dropping a conscious music DJ set on the Dance Stage on the Sunday.

I’m very happy to have been invited back to the Open Mind Conference in Copenhagen as one of their featured speakers this September. I’ll be appearing alongside the likes of Ole Dammegard, Randy Maugans, Frank Rasmussen and a handful of others. This is another inspiring two-day gathering of truthseeking minds, and it’s encouraging to see so many of these slowly appearing in different countries. OMC has been one of the pioneers in this process.
